    Hi there,

    Thanks!

Are you using MOSS 2010 beta... ? MOSS 2007 doesn't even support attachments. :)

     I too wondered that.

The only thing I can think of now is to to add multiple controls, but then you limit to the nummber of doc's, not ideal.

Can the users get creative, and embedded the doc's in 1 main doc, and attach the main doc?

    MOSS

Perhaps I'm misunderstanding the question, but can't you just have an attachment control inside a repeating section? See attached template.

    Hi Chrislatham,

A repeating section will not work as it will repeat your previous attached attachment. I do not have a solution for now!

PS: Patrick, Moss 2007 doesn't support attachments??? You better remove that MVP logo!!

    Hi:

    I'm totally confused.

    1. File attachement controls ARE allowed in browser forms
    2. If your data structure is correct, there is no reason the previously attached attachment would repeat

Simply drag a repeating section onto the form, then drag a file attachment control into that repeating section. InfoPath will generate a data source with the base64 field INSIDE the repeating group. If you want to create the data source yourself, first, create a repeating group and then, inside it, add the base64 field.

Mind you, if you already have a form in use with the field as a non repeating field and not in a repeating group, moving it will probably cause data loss in existing forms.

    Hi,

we do have file attachment control in browser enabled forms, and we can have them in repeating sections also as Hilary said.

PS: Kellys, what i think u have done, u first dragged the file attachment control onto your form, then the repeating section, then dragged the attachment control from your form onto the repeating section.

    Hi,

1st you Drag Repeating Section to you Form and then File Attachment Control to that Repeating Section. It Works in Browser Forms.

    Thanks

     Hi Hilary,

I was able to create multiple file attachment option using repeating  table but I am not able to figure out how can I store file as attachment to document library at the time of saving form.

     Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks,

Re: MULTIPLE ATTACHMENTS ON BROWSER BASED FORM???

Hello, This solution is possible when we are creating / deploying infopath form in infopath library but when we customize List from infopath then we can add repeating section and file attachment control in field. My requirement is to have multiple attachment section in one form. Yes, I can achieve it from above approach but I have another functionality where I have to write Jquery to do some client operations and for that I need to add CEWP in a page. But If I have Infopath form in Infopath Library then I can not add CEWP. Regards, Ginni.
