Can I edit a form by clicking on Title?

I currently have a InfoPath form published to a SharePoint list.  I changed the "Title" field's Display Name to "FormID".  When I click on FormID in the list, the form opens, but not in edit mode.  Is it possible to get the form to open in edit mode by clicking on the Title or another field in the list?  As of now the user has to click on "..." and select Edit.  I have the Edit and Save ribbon removed from the form when it opens in the browser, because I needed to add rules on a Save button.

    Thank you!

     Hello Skivaly21,

Since you renamed the Title to FormID, the form will definitely open in non-editable mode even if you modify the view and add the column Title (linked to item).

If you want the user to open the list in an editable format without clicking on the More options "...", modify the view and check the column name Edit (link to edit item) and make the position from left to be 1.

Thank you! This worked just like you said.  I'm guessing it would have opened in Edit mode if I would have left as "Title", instead of renaming it.

I've been meaning to say thank you :)
